There's simply no escaping this dry, boring, modern political internet. There's no place you can go to be around others who don't care about the drama, and there's no way you can even make people understand your own posts are disconnected from the drama.
I've started lurking 4chan less and less these days too and just spending more time doing solo shit. It's just so dumb now. It really is no different from social media anymore, aside from a few decent posters you meet here and there.

I had planned to do subs for the gdgd Fairies movie too, since there were a handful of laments about the lack of one from time to time in the KF threads, but I guess that's not happening either. Sorry to hear that. I know that feel to some extent, I was doing a little bit of KF translations as well, but after KF was pretty much banned from 4chan and in turn I was banned from the other place there was really no platform left for posting the results, in English at least.
At some point I was trying to finish your butai subs before they were taken over by those discordians.
