What kind of fractal generators does /all/ uses?

Pretty. The gradients remind me of old PC games.

Ffmpeg has a mandelbrot video filter that continually zooms in. That's probably the only generator I've ever used. Attaching a sample. Excuse the poor quality of the webm, the detail is very high which compresses horribly.

Lol just lol when you realize that fractals have infinite area.(´ ∀ ` *)

Infinite perimeter, not infinite area.

Here's a simple proof if you don't believe me. See the image.

1) The Mandelbrot fractal is enclosed in the within the large circle with r=2.
2) The area of that circle is 4π, a finite value.
3) Every point that is in the area of the fractal is also within the area of the circle.
4) There exist points within the area of the circle that are NOT within the area of the fractal.
5) The area of the circle is greater than the area of the fractal, by 3) and 4).
6) The area of the fractal is less than 4π (and greater than 0), by 2) and 5).
7) All values between 0 and 4π are finite.
8) Therefore, the area of the fractal must be finite Q.E.D.

Of course Ffmpeg can also make fractals, ffs is there anything that soft can't do?

What about a fractal generator through a terminal?

I was actually working on one a while back. It's not finished though, but can do some zooming and stuff.

Nah, just some script I was piddling away at on my machine.
https://paste.pound-python.org/show/ND46wwrwTsYIBwZLLSYd/
I forgot what the command line options all mean but there's 3 examples commented out at the top. The first one does a neat little zoom animation. And just running it without any options at all prints the one from my screenshot.

Not really a fractal generator but I just found this while searching for dumb widgets for my desktop.
