Gamer/comicsgate types are starting to get on my nerves. It's not that they offend me, which they don't, it's that they annoy me. They do a bunch of little things that piss me off over and over again, and I see them goddamn everywhere.

I think the underlying thing I hate about them is the idea that art should be made specifically to their tastes and everything else is wrong. If you don't like something don't goddamn watch/play/read it. And I get it, criticism should be a thing. But making a video like "SJW doomed? Comic doesn't sell well XD" isn't criticism, it's just you having a circlejerk with a bunch of other dipshits.

I think you should take your own advice. If you don't like a certain clique, then just ignore them

I try to, but they seem to show up everywhere I go. A big part of it is because I pretty much exclusively use imageboards but still

Being drawn to things you hate is really annoying. I have that habit too and I want to overcome it for clear reasons.
That said, Gaters/Far-right type will flow in to any topic where they can complain about their pet evil. It's really annoying if multiple unrelated threads turn in to whine fests about how their preferred boogieman is ruining the world. It's rarely a bid to solves problems either, just a bunch of dudes venting and stoking anger. I know some boards on 4chan may as well be recruitment camps for how much people screech about their politics.
