I don't get the point of having a /pol/ board on a supposedly "comfy" site. Politics, especially the type you see on /pol/, are about as far from comfy as you can get.

That almost never happens though. I have never met a racist or homophobe online that wasn't also a dickhead. I've met a few in real life, but I guess the internet just makes people stupid.Even in a hypothetical situation where people actually managed to behave themselves, it still wouldn't be "comfy". Even when they're civil, discussions about serious issues are generally draining.

4taba doesn't have a sage feature, so if that's what you were trying to do sorry. Instead, it has sub-threads, which you get by entering the number of the post you want to reply to in the options field

Plenty of imageboard users have jobs and social lives. The notion that all imageboard users are basement-dwelling NEETs was at no point in time ever accurate.
People who've truly "grown up" and have jobs and social lives don't use imageboards.
putting aside the old vs new dichotomy, the idea of not having edgy content or normal people is contradictory.
In what way? It is entirely possible to have a community without "normal people" and not be full of edgelords.
