Relatively recently an English translation of Taikou Risshiden 5 became available.Taikou Risshiden 5 is a 2004 Koei Tecmo RPG/strategy game where you play as a single character of your choice during the Sengoku Japan period with a wide variety of potential activities and minigames. It is probably mechanically the deepest game of its kind.Have you heard of it, played it or are interested in playing it?
I didn't hear of it before reading this thread, I'd be interested if I could find a torrent to see if I can run it on linux but I haven't had any luck so far.
