What are you watching lately from the twentieth century? I just started Rurouni Kenshin. This little faggot reminds me of the jakovasaurs from South Park with the noise he makes whenever he gets hit in the head.
I've also been watching Saint Tail. The writing has been atrocious in terms of plot holes so far, but it's okay because there's a cute gril.

I started watching Macros earlier this week, just got to when they return to Earth. Does anyone know if this show was influenced by Battlestar Galactica? I see a lot of similarities in the first 13 episodes.

Okay, I'm enjoying Macross so far, but episode 17 is bullshit. I mean, a whole episode of reusing footage from previous episodes to create a new script that doesn't make any sense and calling it a "dream sequence?" And only three episodes after a recap episode, too?

HOLY SHIT Hayase wins the Ichijo Bowl and gets promoted to commander of her own ship. I can't believe best girl actually won; I thought she was done for when Ichijo chose the wrong Christmas cake in the previous episode. I was fully prepared to be pissed off by this last episode and instead it was the best ending ever.Macross was great. I'm nearing the end of Street Fighter II V (1995). It's about Ryuu and Ken going around the world and fighting people and having the ultimate hot-blooded bromance before getting involved with Bison and his organization. It's fairly entertaining and reasonably violent.
