I found rumiho and ruka's chapters pretty underwhelming after what happened before. Are they improved in the anime?

I haven't seen the adaptation but I heard it's pretty close to the source material.

another fun fact: it's the first anime i've seen in my life that had me empathetic towards the characters. the realization of what happens when you got back to the alpha line really got to me.


now, i'm hooked. i'll consume every single entry to the franchise, as it stands Steins;Gate is my favorite anime.
