Do you like digital pets?Let's talk about them.
My tamagotchi always died when I was at school because I didn't know how to pause it :(
>>2 mine fell in the puddle but it worked two weeks later
I get too attached to them despite them not being real. I'll feel bad if I stop playing the game and let it die.
I was thinking of making a digital pet style game but with a digital hikikomori instead. He'd have a certain amount of energy that you replenish by resting or eating food, and doing things like getting up to go to the bathroom drains energy. If you ever run out of energy he just lies there unable to move as his HP slowly drops to 0.
>>6Are you trying to imply that there's female hikikomori's or something? lol
>>7make it a girl or else I'll fork it
>or else I'll fork itHell, I'd rather fork it if it was a girl, if you catch my drift.*tips down glasses and wiggles eyebrows*

>>2My mom would always try to keep my tamagotchi alive, but she couldn't always manage it. She really liked playing with it when I was at school. I'll never forget how disappointed she was when she told me it died while I was away.
>>5 I can't believe that this post was *somehow* made 3 years ago, but are you thinking like a fully drawn and animated thing, or proper 1-bit 16x32?
Tangentially related, I've been playing Monster Rancher Advance. It's a decent raising sim, my only complaint is that many of the things in the game aren't explained at all.

I was pretty into Neopets back in the day.Unfortunately my old account seems to be gone due to inactivity. What a shame.
I've been feeling npstalgic for Digimon Adventure, and eventually wanted to try something like the V-pet, as I never had one, so I tried this phone app called 'VoxelMonster' out. I've been enjoying it, taking the growth process slow and just chexking every so often.
