I was cutting peppers the other day and this weird baby pepper was sitting inside of one. So I dug it out of its nest of seeds and it's been sitting in my room since Monday. It's already decaying but I want to keep track of progress for it. Is there anything I can do to prolong its inevitable death? Like maybe leave it out in the sun or feed it water?

Skating, parkour, graffiti, urbex etc etc. There's nothing like the feeling of the wind as you fly towards the pavement.

I actually looked into parkour stuff over the summer. Sadly, I don't have a lot of upper body strength, so pulling myself over tall obstacles and climing is/was kind of difficult at the moment, but I've definitely gotten a lot better since summer. Urbex is also really appealing, I've gone to some abandoned schools with some friends. Camping in an abandoned place sounds fun.

I don't know if this counts, when I'm in town I like "track" graffiti writers by following the trail of tags. There's something cool about investigating something which is in plain sight but no one pays attention to.

Also this thread got me to go skateboarding, I landed my first flip trick. It's like a dumb pressure flip where the board turns 360 around the long axis instead of 180 around two axes. I could never land it while trying to analyze my movement which pissed me off majorly, but it was a good day, I'm gonna keep skating until I forget again.

I explored an abandoned building years ago while I was running a lot, and I've been pining to do it again since. Unfortunately, the building I went in to before has been since closed up.

This is the only shot I have left of the inside of it. It was an old school/police building before being neglected. Had heavy water damage in one room too, enough for the ceiling to be weak.

So I finally worked out how to actually do a fucking ollie today. Turns out every online guide is complete bullshit, what you're actually meant to do is jump BEFORE you pop the tail so your back foot isn't on the board when it hits the ground, and sliding your front foot up just happens automatically. So much wasted time as a kid.

>I don't have a lot of upper body strength, so pulling myself over tall obstacles and climbing is/was kind of difficult

Is upper body strength that important? When I'm climbing trees I don't do a lot of "pull ups", it's more like holding on to something above me and swinging/walking up to it.

I've gotten the old database and images.

So I think I'll try and merge the two, but it'll take a bit of time. I can release a version without any IPs and mod data as well, but I'll need to read a bunch of docs to figure out how to do this on sqlite3

When a page is loaded for the first time it remains in memory. Accessing pages on the site causes it to break over time.

I used the be bewildered by folks who would buy ball joint dolls. It was outside of my realm of experience, and seemed super niche even by the standards I was used to. I never got to the point where I would actively mock them, but it was an oddity to me.
Then on a whim, I bought a large, yet cheap doll. I think I get it now. It made me feel less lonely and a bit more positive, even if by a little bit.

Now I'm a bit more curious about proper ball joint types. Not so much as to binge on them, I only have so much money and space, but when I have the capacity to buy another doll, it'd be neat to have one with more articulation.

It's not 4taba's real IP address, it's an IP address for one of Cloudflare's servers, which 4taba will appear on solely, among other websites. when you type in a website address and go to it, your web browser is actually sending text slightly more complicated than this, and it shows what the server gives back to it:
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: wikipedia.org

GET (command),
/ (path, it'll more often be something like /index.html or /thread/ho/4),
HTTP/1.1 (HTTP version)

The Host line there is saying what host you want it from. It's always required, but still useless most of the time since you send this text directly to the host anyway. In Cloudflare's case, they actually use that line to be able to tell what website you want.

This is the actual line a browser sends to 4taba when the host is defined in the hosts file, or if you're able to change your "Request Headers" manually (I haven't seen any browser that lets you do this, unfortunately):
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: 4taba.net
DNT: 1
Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
Accept-Language: en-US,en
Upgrade-Insecure-Requests: 1
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) QtWebEngine/5.11.2 Chrome/65.0.3325.230 Safari/537.36
Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,image/webp,image/apng,*/*;q=0.8
Cookie: vsid=(censored); __cfduid=(censored); style=multi-theme
Connection: keep-alive
If-Modified-Since: Sun, 12 Jan 2020 00:19:41 GMT
Cache-Control: max-age=0

I know it complicates things even more, but I think cloudflare will also refuse to send you a page unless you have the " __cfduid" cookie and the User-Agent request header because they're the racist bartenders who don't serve robot kind. Unfortunately, with Cloudflare, it's difficult to access websites unless they have an actual DNS entry/a line in your hosts.
