I take them for the anger issues, but it seems they make me more manipulable and the anger doesn't even fade away
Yeah, I have ADHD medicine and it makes me all weird and shit.
TAKE YOUR MEDS
Thanks for reminding me to take my asthma medication.
I've seen many friends, family, and people get irrevocably screwed by medicine than it actually helping. The mental health industry is a lie that just feeds you pills to dull your senses, or introspect further on your problem or suffering.
over-diagnosis doesn't rule out that medication is a helpful tool for things like anxiety and attention issues.Behavioral issues a bit more tricky..
All glories to Lord Bune, the Duke! I praise his name, Bune! Wehl Melan Avage Bune Tasa
Do you kill ants? I don't, i find them adorable as long they don't bite me
most ants don't even bite
As long as they don't bug me.
I find them pretty cool, but I'm thinking about the possibility of their evolution into larger forms. so yeah i kill them
I respect them too much. They're really smart creatures. If things go south for humanity I could easily see some sort of ant replacing us.
did you know that ~96% of corpses end up in anthills ? I thought that was interesting
Huh
sage test
gonna make a thread here
Cool thread.
firefox crashed again
Sometimes I wish YouTube wasn't such a solid hub for long form tutorials and lectures on so many subjects. It's really useful when looking to learn stuff, but it's so easy to get distracted, and the distractions themselves are rarely anything great.
I, too, wish there was a mirror of carefully curated longform videos, but what can you do?
>>3youtube has become so bad you can usually learn more by reading some ancient lecture slides for five minutes than an hour long video.videos always boil down complex ideas into naive talking points using only intuitive reasoning.it is patronizing to someone that put any effort into learning, and enlightening for zero-agency people that "fucking love science".It has a dangerous spill-over effect where if you try searching other parts of the web you end up finding lots of the same garbage repeated by people that want to be authorities in their gay ass community.I call it the "wired" phenomenon, where you get some mid-wit woman host reading from a script, washed-up "authorities" as guests, pandering/quirky attitude (2009 memes XD), high production value, lots of subtle advertising, and minimal substance.
>>5Of course the most popular stuff is surface level garbage. It's simply what the majority of people are willing to consume. I'm surprised people are still surprised the lowest common denominator is, in fact, the lowest common denominator.
It depends. The stuff I'm drawn to is usually by people who have low production values and may not actually know anything about AV. It's often dry content, but the speaker is earnest. Professor Messer has decent production, but he's also very straight to the point and dry in his lecturing.Of course, there's always MIT Coursework and the like as an alternative.

Posts just linking to other posts are worthless.
Well, in my case at least, thanks for the links. Would have never known otherwise as I only read shitaba these days.
Thanks for the newspost.
Thanks for posting this, I hadn't checked /a/ in a while so I hadn't seen this
This board is the coolest board. There is no other board cooler than this one.

I can immediately tell that purple hair is best girl.
>>17 oh, you're the guy who made that thread on /jp/
>>11Definitely
>>11I agree.
I hope mpv adds proper support for beautiful WebVTT subtitling soon. Machine-generated, unreadable .ass file messes are so icky.
I'd like her to give me an icky ass mess a hu hu aa hu hu ahu hu ahuh hu hu hu hu hu
You can't just post a single photo of her and leave it at that.https://www.sanook.com/hitech/1387741/

In this thread, post weird findings you happen to stumble upon on your favorite p2p client. While looking up games and music on soulseek, I came across some funny grindcore.https://anonfiles.com/Lao9LeKdo6/Masturbating_With_Her_Panties_mp3

It's a shame the BitTorrent protocol never implemented any file advertisement or messaging, but I can definitely understand why. It'd be nice if it were standard to host some kind of ncat two-user messaging service on TCP port whatever.
Oh, OBVIOUSLY talk runs on port 517. How silly of me.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message_Send_ProtocolLook at that. Another standard which simply refused to get off the ground. I still think that hosting a little forking UNIX "talk" server on one port 24/7 would be simple enough to maybe gain traction.
>>3>It's a shame the BitTorrent protocol never implemented any file advertisement or messagingDHT????? You probably disabled it already if you're on a private tracker.
Big fat list of imageboards easily sortable.https://socialwiki.top/wiki/Imageboards4taba2.net is on it too
remove it
What is the purpose of these if not to just provide an easy low effort pathway for newfags to enter?
They are for spamming.
>newfagsgo back to 4chan
If 4taba is so great, why isn't there a 4taba2?
limited time offer, expires next yearhttps://4taba2.net/thread/ho/499
It's a good thing 4taba2 is a thing, because 4taba isn't working for me.
You might be using www.4taba.net. Apparently 4taba isn't part of the world wide web, so just 4taba.net works
funny, I enabled it and it's directing to my 4chan ban logger.taba's nginx config is messy. I'll have to redo it sometime.
>>4Associating one subdomain with one port is just archaic. We should've developed a protocol that runs on port 1 or wherever for port/service negotiation years ago.--> I WANT TO TALK TO YOUR WEB SERVER<-- 80 OKAY, CHECK OUT PORT 80 !or<-- 0 I DON'T HAVE WEB SERVER
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TCP_Port_Service_Multiplexer Oh.Well my idea's still better.
I haven't posted here in a while. I should post here more often. Any ideas for what I should post?
boobs & ass
Posting online is weird, because when you're in a community that discourages low-effort and non-genuine posts, it gets harder to sustain a community. Sometimes I think of things that I find would be good topics to talk about randomly throughout the day and put it in a "possible posts" file. Post more Lum!
>>3>because when you're in a community that discourages low-effort and non-genuine posts, it gets harder to sustain a community. What I like about 4taba is that it discourages the latter but not the former. It's a place where you can just kind of post whatever and then go about your day. It's super chill and casual without going into outright shitposting territory
