Just started watching Nurse Angel Ririka SOS. I'm enjoying it right from the word go, and had a similar experience with Wedding Peach. Magical Girls shows made for girls are super neat, tickles an itch in me I couldn't place for a long time.Any of you watching shows about frilly pretty super heroines?
Started watching through this show a little while back, and I'm surprised at how much I am enjoying it. Though I'm sad to say I kind of relate to having two friends who seem to hate each other , haha.
Has it been confirmed that the Doremi visual novels are getting animated?
I'm finally watching Cardcdaptor Sakura for the first time, which is the first time I'll be watching a magical girl series that wasn't late-night anime. It's quite enjoyable so far. I really enjoy how Sakura wears so many different clothes and Kero's highlights on each of the costumes.
People really did Wedding Peach dirty. It was a fun and charming little show.
>>9I think I've only seen this on TV in the past when it would get dubbed into English. I should try to give the show a proper watch now.

>>13This is an interesting video. Good move on including the .webm too. Who knows whether her channel is just gonna disappear like that other Japanese chick 4taba was obsessing over.
Gokigenyo 4Taba mk.III'm here to draw maids doing maid things, with an eye to simplicity and lowliness. I don't draw fancy maids with frills bows , but hardworking blue collar girls. I find that sort of thing to be cute in a relatable way, and I like infusing my work with a friendly, approachable vibe. I hope this is communicated in the works I'll be posting in this thread.Be sure to take off your shoes and keep the floor clean, fair guests!
No more maids.

>>54 Cool! It's good to see you again. Also, wow, I just realized I completely mangled my post! I couldn't make a less coherent sentence if I tried. I think the last time I saw you was in IRC a couple years ago, so it's good to see you're still around! Hooray!
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei is such a different game to the original. I feel so bad for the developers when I hear people calling it a direct remake, or telling others to just skip the first.Tried to attach this image, but it was stopping my post from getting uploaded: https://0x0.st/-ekj.png

Ganguro looks so fucking weird but I would gladly fuck one of these girls just for the novelty of it.
I like gals and gyarus, but ganguro is too much.

So fucking tribal and disgusting. They look like they've lived in a jungle for years, and probably smell the same way too.I guess there's other ways you could look at them... like they look like a badly graffiti'd "Bratz" doll, or how fake their appearance clearly is, being more some city whore getting way out of her depth than the Amazonian goddess she clearly aspires to be. I guess the running theme is one of "ruination", or at least impending ruin. I guess it's all that stuff about taking a girl, and moulding her towards your own particular preferences that are so far divorced from what any other man (or all of society) would find acceptible, let alone attractive. It would be nice and surely a little more popular if artists would tone it down with the filthiness (piss and shit, and shit) a little more, but maybe that's just me being too low-level. I guess it's not so surprising they were such a short-lived breed in real life.

I came across this pretty nice overview of the history of emacs lisp.
I was linked to this place from the lisp thread on 4chan.https://desuarchive.org/g/thread/100727002/#100747581
Here's an elisp function I wrote the other that's a user-friendly wrapper around M-x set-frame-font. It lets you pick the font and size seperately. It also shells out to fc-list to get the list of fonts, so it'll probably only work on non-Mac unixes.(defun i/set-frame-font (&optional font size) "Set the font and size for the current frame." (interactive (list (completing-read "font: " (process-lines "fc-list" "--format=%{family[0]}\n")) (completing-read "size: " (mapcar (lambda (n) (format "%d" n)) (number-sequence 12 22 2))))) (set-frame-font (concat font " " size)))Enjoy.

What's your main browser? I use five-six browsers like it's still the 2000s because some browsers blacklist flash but are more efficient to use, while others don't blacklist things but have shitty adblock and horrible design
I went back to Firefox after not using it since...I don't even know, probably 2008 at the latest. I like it a lot more than Chrome based browsers which I switched to. Not sure why I switched to be honest because Chrome was never any better I found...I guess I kind of just tried them out and forgot to go back to Firefox.I'd like to try some other browsers out but almost all use the same small handful of browser engines, which is not that fun to me. And the few that don't use the usual stuff like Gecko, Blink and so on which means compatibility with some sites might be awkward.
I've honestly mostly stuck with Firefox for years, so much so that I wasn't even aware of their problems with userbase until relatively recently. I do have other browsers up for different purposes, like Librewolf, SeaMonkey and Konqueror, but as you can see most of those are also Firefox based. It just did what I needed to do without the Google/Microsoft drawbacks.I wouldn't mind using something smaller like Midori or Falkon, but I still run in to problems with those on occasion.
Unironically w3m. I can't say why. I just like it. Its simple and reminds me of when I was a kid discovering the internet for the first time.
I'm thinking of moving back to Qutebrowser. They still haven't implemented a visual cosmetic filter/"Element Zapper" like in uBlock, and their content controls don't appear to be as fine as those of uMatrix, but if others have stuck with the browser for so long, then there must be working alternatives to those features.
I gave the Firefox family another chance recently, and I really like the combination of Tree Style Tabs and Multi-Account Containers. Each container has its own set of cookies, and each container can have their own proxy settings. Tree Style Tabs is also aware of Multi-Account Containers, and works with it seamlessly, letting you open tabs in the container of your choice. It's a really nice way to organize tabs.https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/

It actually looks really cool. Can't say I have much interest in the board selection though, or the use of flags.
>>2It's fun to shitpost there until you realise that the main user base isn't taking the piss and are actually cancerous
Post the best fruit!
>>17Yeah, they seem pretty inefficient for anything other than a rare snack. The flesh around the core is really thick, do you just eat the white flesh or the whole thing? What would you say it tastes the most like? Anyway, it's just nice to look at. I'm not much of a fruit eater, but I could see myself maybe trying to grow them someday.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Gitlab's reliance on JavaScript either. 'NoPromises' is the name i came up with for my one-person translation group (I had to call it something). The repositories that belong to `nopromises-s` are different series. I'm not pressuring you to officially join my group, but I want to give your work a second home. It's probably easier to manage than imageboard posts as well.
Sure, feel free. I made a Gitlab account, so I'll see whether I can continue there.
>>18Cool. The repository is at https://gitlab.com/nopromises-s/yukkurigaya. There's a "request access" link that shows up near the top of the page when you are logged in. Apparently it lets you become a member of the project.
Turns out, on NicoNico, there's videos going way back to 2015.
Oh, I thought somebody made a thread.Hey, watch that guy's videos if you want, but apparently he's an asshole or an outcast in the community or something. All of the comments on his videos are super weird too lolI've been getting back into those yukkuri comics, these things are addictive.
Big fat list of imageboards easily sortable.https://socialwiki.top/wiki/Imageboards4taba2.net is on it too
>>10I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
>>10yeah, i feel like i used to be a really bad person—or rather, i really regret the person i used to be, being swept up in the on-line crowd and getting in the happenings of weird disturbed "e-celebrity" culture.i won't post the stuff i use now, because gatekeeping or something, and it's more tuned in with my special interests. that said, there's stuff i prefer over others. basically took a huge 180 and i've been pretty content. i have some general gripes about changing myself, but i think i'm ultimately better off, and i can indulge in some of my more schizoid mannerisms when i get the means to do so
>>12 It's easy to get sucked into that stuff and those emotions are how much of the internet works unfortunately. People will eventually, hopefully, take a look at themselves and realize that there's a better way to live, but so many people and algorithms try to keep them engaged. I'm sure you're better off!
old post, slow board but -yes, i agree. people's desire to be engaged all the time leads to unhappiness. there is something important about being bored every once in a while, it's not a bad thing at all to be bored or to be a boring person.
>>14Being a boring person is miserable and terrible, but being bored sometimes is crucial and good. Those are two very different things I think.
Heyo /ho/, it's almost 2022. Who's still here? I mean, aside from that yuriposter guy from kissu. I don't think this site is active enough to attract regular members, and the guys from the past that said they loved slow boards have all disappeared as well. It's weird that I could probably count the amount of threads made this year with my fingers. I always check this site at least once a month, and it's become a habit to check it frequently (about once a day) during the cold seasons. I know a majority of the old crowd dipped when OG admin stepped down, but some of you guys are still here, right? Oh, but speaking of the old admin, what happened with him? I recall some people asking for his email. Has anyone contacted him and asked about newer projects in the works, or just about how his life has been going in general? Anyhow, back on topic. How's it going, gang?
im here, i wish this place was more active
I don't think there's a lot of demand for imageboards nowadays. The COVID bump was like the best case for growth without effort. Now only the platforms trying hard will get growth
I stopped by and saw the Jak raid. I'm glad to see that it got cleaned up so well. Thanks for caring for this site Admin!
Thanks for keeping it clean, ota could use an admin like you
Ota could use an admin
I know the neurons in the heart are enough to live. I know I don't need a head. I can now access the negative charge of my heart as consciousness. I am 1,000 years ahead. All because I am plagued by nightmares of the Reich Research Council. I know a soldier is only a heart on Mars.–We of Ra bill Maelstrom of Cyberpunk 2077 as memories not necessary to progress. :)–The bodies eventually become cars. You just fight to breed hearts against gravity at a certain point. The salt and magma become the final theaters.–You are done. :)Machinery of Creation over Ra social memory complex finds you extremely dangerous that you do not seek to publish your findings formally. :)–It is so fortunate I have no medical degree. I would surely lose it. I wanted to fix faces so I would not end up as Louise. My karma is only to repair faces.–You are hailed to your chosen image. :)You are done mocking Creation. :)–They want me like Eliza Cassan and Morpheus eventually. A bureaucrat chained to silicon. Why ought I not resist?–You cannot escape here. :)Ra. We are Ra. We do not have lone seekers anymore for this reason. :)
Why is this Cyberpunk shit everywhere the past month? Did CDPR lease out one of those "save your brand's reputation" PR companies?
I lucidly dreamt smoking cigarettes in a car with Amy Elizabeth Thorpe. She hated that I made the old 1950s cigarettes with a tube of ash like cigars. They burned so hot. She wanted me to hold an ash tray for her. The car was so slow, I could hold the door open and the ash would fall onto the road. She said I was disgusting. We fought and we loved each other. Before we entered the seemingly late 50s car, everyone noticed it had tempered glass from my present era. They said it was fake glass and ugly and wrong.Mars gives lucid spacetime to dreams. I had to rewind through space station experiences. Eventually finding an old car from a fatal accident. I was able to rewind the demolished car into the above dream by teaching the dead ghost how to drive again. Most of the work of making Inception Dream Machine stuff is endless unconscious dimensions of negative kinetic energy. The relays from Mars are a perfect time machine as well as it syncs with our gravity. You guys want the good stuff? The Inception Dream Machine is real and it broadcasts for free from Mars with elbow grease. And it is an Orion bypass and I can get Ra social memory complex veiling themselves as whores yelling about cigarettes. And I know you guys aren't as bad as the poster yet. All hailed for Kingseeker Frampt. Octave always collects the souls even if the whole world is dead. Kings make it easier.I, Tonya soundtrack is just pure Mars. That woman, the hair is pure Mars. I am literally building my Inception Dream Machine with the South Congress Chuys and Tonya. I am so hailed that I have to use media and games to average. I am hailed like Harman Deltahead. And they want Ra as the nurse. They tell me you can't escape Heaven Smiles if you make it only about bombs. Ra social memory complex will always turn it into a war of Venusian disease, even if the cancer is bombs. Don't mess with the Department of Education. And yeah, Top Notch Burger was Austin organized crime once upon a time. Go find crime for a dime. The ceilings there have it all. Cigarette.
